Ok, things are better now over the whole moving date incident. David still drives me completely mad but I guess this is standard for loving someone to death. We went to the house yesterday and I took a picture of David falling on his ass. We don't have steps to the front door yet, just a plank really and whle David was trying to walk down it, he slipped. Hopefully he didn't delete the image from my memory card. It started to snow pretty heavily while we were at the house. I tried to capture just how peaceful and serene the house looked in the snow but I haven't seen the pictures yet. David noticed this I didn't, we have a bump out in the front of our house, it's like a bay window area but instead of it being round in the front it's square. Anyway, the builders were supposed to make the bump out stand out against the rest of the siding by making this siding going wertical instead of horizontal, yet they made all of the siding go in one direction. David called our contractor and they are going to have to fix it. David's parents will be in FL this week, so next week we are picking out the carpet and flooring for the kitchen and bathrooms. It's all coming together so quickly. The whole ugly scene with David over the moving date was all for not apparently. David's mom called yesterday that it's possible we will be in the house before March 1. Like the last week in Feb. Everything will be done by then but the landscaping which technically you aren't supposed to move into your house until everything is completely done, but Joel our contractor got the ok to let us move in before the landscaping is done because of the weather. So all that ugly mess for nothing! If I miss-spelled anything, sorry, I don't see a spell check anywhere here on deadjournal.
